Enjoy a day-long celebration of Orioles Baseball packed with current and former player appearances, interactive Q&A sessions, youth clinics, memorabilia exhibits and interactive... games. Plus, single game tickets for the 2011 season will go on sale at 10:00am.

The 11th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade takes place on Monday, January 17, 12:00pm. The event celebrates the life of one of America's most influential civil rights, political and social icons.

During the celebration, the Orange Route will run a modified route will the following stop closures from 9:15am - 5:15pm.

You are invited to gaze at the night sky from 5:30-9:00pm every Friday night, weather permitting at the Maryland Science Center. Come view the Moon and Jupiter in the Crosby Ramsey Memorial Observatory. See craters and mountains on the Moon and the giant planet Jupiter along with its four largest moons – all visible through our rooftop telescope. Admission to the Observatory is free to the general public (does not include access to the museum).

Phone 410-545-2999 after 5:00 PM on Fridays to find out if the Observatory will be open that night.
