Geppi's Entertainment Museum opened its Baltimore Heroes Exhibit on March 27, 2011. This exhibit is a permanent addition to the museum and features the best and brightest Baltimore has to offer. The exhibit covers people like Bea Gaddy, Tom Clancy and Cal Ripken to things like WMAR-TV, the 98 Rock radio station and John Water's films. There is even a section about Little Italy and all the wonderful things that have originated from the biggest little section of our great city.

Ribbon-cutting will open the first of a series of permanent exhibits that will be showcased during the War of 1812 bicentennial! Designed by Mystic Scenic of Boston Massachusetts, the display located in the star-shaped Fort gives insight into daily life of the Fort's soldiers at the time of the 1814 bombardment of the Fort by the British navy - rare buttons, bones and bayonets are but some of the original items from the desperate defense of the Fort in 1814!

SITES, the Smithsonian Latino Center, the Clemente family, and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico present Beyond Baseball: The Life of Roberto Clemente as a tribute to this monumental figure’s outstanding achievements on the field and off.

An international parade of ships will sail into Baltimore on June 13, 2012 to launch Star-Spangled 200, the celebration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the penning of the National Anthem. More than two dozen ships, including U.S. Navy, British and Canadian “grey hulls” and tall ships from around the globe are expected for the Star-Spangled Spectacular 2012 festivities. The week-long event will feature public tours, land-based activities and an air show, featuring the Blue Angels.
