Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade

The 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade takes place on Monday, January 16, 12:00pm. The event celebrates the life of one of America's most influential civil rights, political and social icons.

During the celebration, the Orange Route will run a modified route will the following stop closures from 10:00am - 5:15pm.

Monday, January 16

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade presented by Forman Mills is held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at noon.  This annual celebration is becoming an event to honor not only Dr. King, but to pay homage to others continuing his legacy. The event steps off at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Eutaw Street, proceeds south on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and disbands at Baltimore Street.

Monument St. road closure, revised Green Route to be run.

Friday, January 06

Due to crane lift operation, a portion of Monument Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic between Wolfe and Washington Streets, Saturday, Jan. 7, 6:00am - 6:00pm. A revised Green Route will be run during this time. The Madison Street stop (126) will be closed.

Johns Hopkins - Stop 125 temporarily closed

Due to emergency vehicle activity on Broadway, Green Route Johns Hopkins - Stop 125 is temporarily closed.

Revised Route for Monument LIghting

Tuesday, November 29

On Thursday, December 1, Baltimore will welcome the holiday season by lighting the Washington Monument. A portion of Charles Street will closed due to the festivities. Please note that a revised Purple Route will be run beginning at 6:00pm and service will be extended on all three routes.
