Phase I of the Snow Emergency Plan Now Lifted in Baltimore City

Tuesday, February 23

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that Phase I of the Snow Emergency Plan has been lifted in Baltimore City. This means that vehicles traveling on city roadways no longer need to be equipped with snow tires, all weather radials or chains.

Orange Route Modification: Stop No. 210 has been relocated.

To serve you better, a slight route modification on the CCC Orange Route will go into effect on Monday, February 22, 2010.  The University of Md BioPark Garage Stop (#210) has been relocated to the northeast corner of Baltimore and Poppleton Streets, in front of the UMB BioPark Garage. 

Service Alert: Service to Stops 222 and 224 temporarily suspended.

Due to snow, service to the Stop 222 (Pier 5) has been temporarily suspended.

Due to a water main break, service to Stop 224 (Central Avenue) has also been temporarily suspended.

Service to resume regular operating hours, Wednesday, February 17 with modified route.

The Circulator will resume regular operating hours, Wednesday, February 17. Service will not be provided to the Hollins Market area: Stops 211, 212 & 213.

The Circulator will be in service Tuesday, February 16 with modified hours and route.

Tuesday, February 16

The Circulator will be in service with the following modified hours: 6:30AM - 8:00PM

Service has been slated to end earlier than normal due to icing conditions after dark.

Updated route:

• Stops west of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. will not be serviced.

Please note the above operating hours and shortened route will be in effect until further notice. Road conditions on portions of the route where service has been suspended will be assessd on an ongoing basis.

Mayor Reinstates Phase II of the Snow Emergency Plan Beginning at 5:00 a.m. Thursday

Non-emergency vehicles are allowed to travel throughout the city; parking on snow emergency routes is prohibited; Mayor announces additional parking at Johns Hopkins University

Service Update: February 9, service on regular schedule with revised route.

Tuesday, February 09

For Tuesday, February 9, service will start at 6:30AM and continue the regular service schedule through 8:00PM, weather permitting.

The Circulator will be running a revised route which will run east on Pratt Street to South, right on President Street around Harbor East Circle, back to President Street, left on Lombard Street, left on Greene Street, left on Pratt Street (this may change due to road condition improvements).
