Style and Swag: The New Black Male Elegance

The museum pays homage to black male elegance with a “Dress for Success” workshop, bazaar and fashion show for men of all ages. Experts in men’s fashion provide tips on building a polished, inexpensive wardrobe with basic clothing essen­tials to make every black man stylish. The market bazaar will be complete with stations that provide information on hair care, grooming, etiquette and clothing. Participants include Carlous Palmer of Design LLC; Brian Joyner of Be Better Guys; The Spa Lounge Salon; E. Bannister Couture; Christopher Shafer Clothier; Eric Brewer; Octavius Johnson; and K&G Fashion Superstore. A raffle of men’s care products and gift cards will be available to visitors.
